Products, services, good practices from Abroad: NESTA, United Kingdom City, e-Governance Academy Estonia, Vienna City

The conference began with speakers who shared their products, services and good practices from abroad. Oliver Usher from NESTA (UK), shared their vision of including drones into traffic infrastructure.

Allan Mayo (UK), Representative of United Kingdom City shared use case on how to develop smart city strategy in the case of Greenwich.

Hannes Astok (EE) e-Government expert and Deputy Director of e-Governance Academy provided a view of how to deal with digital and analogue data – project he is currently involved in, methods of backing up government data and strategy to digitize and connect different countries.

Norbert Weidinger (AT), shared an example of good practice of Vienna city, they have variety of interesting applications for smartphones like Sag’s Wien and platforms, like bots, for communications with their citizens etc.
